Kyoto Schmoto

So Kyoto was amazing, and everything was sweetness, don't have much to say because like I have said before I'm not much of a writer, but I did take tons of pictures that can speak for themselves. We had a wide variety of activities throughout the weekend including many a shrine, and a monkey park. We stayed at a hostel that had the hardest beds I've ever felt. Anyway here are some pictures.....

Karaoke the first night

The Golden Palace

Monkeyz at Monkey Park

Many Many Gatewaysz

The Greatest Sundae Ever

And Like I said these are only 5 out of about 250, all of which you can see here KYOTO-BUCKET. Also you can check out my facebook if your into all of that stuff.

Relief sux, and Kyoto shoudl save me

So this week I have come to the conclusion that I hate the medium of relief printing, especially when its done by hand. its just so sloppy and inaccurate and dumb. Anyway, I feel weird writing a blog with no pictures to talk about or to show because I'm not very good at writing, but the next week or so should make up for all the shitty school I've had to deal with.

This weekend we are using the 4 day weekend to go to Kyoto. Should be a big change from the busy life of Tokyo, and we get to see shrines and what people call "the real Japan". We have planned tons of stuff to jam into the short 4 day trip, so there will definitely be tons of pictures to be posted later.

After this weekend Nicole is coming to visit which should bring me up aswell. We plan on visiting tons of stuff that I havnt gotten to see yet in Tokyo, ad well as revisiting some of the better places. Again there will hopefully be a ton of great pictures to post.

Theeeen, about a week after Nicole leaves, Ryan will be coming to visit, so again I will be running around checking out all the sites again. Somewhere in there, I have to shoot video for my digital class, print my final book 10 times, and write a paper.... should be tons of fun.

A nice 1/6 model of Lando

2 new editions to my favorite toys PUPPET MASTER

Pinhead Regular version

Six-Shooter Regular Edition

Im so sick of all these star waaarrz

So today I went out on my own in search of toy purchases, I attempted to go found BountyXHunter, but like most cases my map didnt help me at all so I couldn't find it, though i did stumple across Stussy Undefeated and the X-Large stores which were all really nice and had some cool stuff. So after a good walk around in Harajuku I decided to head down to Nakano to find another toy store i read about that was on the 2nd floor of a mall. Last time I tried to find this store we walked around for like an hour and couldnt find it, but now i knew it was in the mall so I headed out. When i got there is discovered quite the site. About half the upstairs was toy stores, and each store had atleast a whole wall dedicated to Star Wars, and we're not talking about like the new episode gayness, Im talkin about mint original episode IV figures in their boxes priced at about 300 a pop. There was also a sick airsoft gun shop, as well as a real gun store, that i think only sold unusable guns, but i have no idea. One store also had a whole collection of Battle Toads and Madballs, Noel would crap himself. Overall I came back with some key purchases, 2 bearbricks, 2 puppet master figures, a Lando 1/6 scale model, and a model set of Jabba's palace and all the figures including non other than Max Rebo and his band. Ohh and last but not least I came away from the whole adventure with a sweet plastic full sized storm trooper mask!

the REAL gun store

A full scale replica ET

Noel F would crap himself if he saw these

Bringin it back to 92'. a full BATTLE TROLLS collection

Ohh the amazing Star Wars finds I wish I could afford

I wish i took more pictures but I promise I will be back and load up my camera, also pictures of my purchases will be up soon. Also if I had to sum up this mall's 2nd and 3rd floors and give it a new name I would have to say "Nick Poyners Dream Mall"
