MY SPECIAL DAY!

The whole gang decided to head out to the Juke for my birthday, but when we quickly realized there wasn't much to do we caught the last train (literally) out of the area and back home and decided to Karaoke all night, well of course I mean AFTER we got some beef and rice, the equivalent to the greatness of a Crunchwrap Supreme back in the states. SO the night started pretty slow, except for MarioKart arcade game, which I didnt even know they had. But by the end was extremely radical and my voice was shot. Best songs of the night for me were Johnny B Good, Smack That, I don't Wanna Know, and of course Happy Birthday, which Jonathan and Hannah were great enough to karaoke for me. We ended the night with Welcome to the Jungle which was quite the moment of greatness for me and Jon, too bad we didn't get video of that.

ULTRAMAN!!!

So last night we went to the Mito Museum in Roppongi Hills to check out the contemporary art exhibit and the Ultraman retrospective. If your not sure who that is hes basically like a Superman of Japan, bigger than Godzilla and from the same creator. anyway there were no pictures allowed in the contemporary exhibit but I was able to get some in the monster section for the ultraman one except it was very dark so a lot of the pictures came out blurry cause the flash wasn't working so well either. Then went to the Tokyo Skyview because the museum was on the 52nd floor of the building so you could see the huge city that is tokyo from quite high up.

HERE IN JAPAN

just set up this blog to keep track of all our activities in Japan, and Tokyo more specifically. Today we are going to the museum and should have tons of pictures to load up from that. So far the weather wasn't so amazing so we held off on taking pictures.
